The Lake Show has returned after what seemed as a disappointing first round series against The Oklahoma Thunder where The Los Angeles Lakers were forced into 6 games in a series a lot thought even 5 games would be to much. That was round one though round two has gone to The Lakers easily as they hold a 3-0 series lead over The Utah Jazz.

Game one saw Kobe Bryant score 11 points in the final four minutes of the forth quarter to seal a 104-99 victory over the Jazz. A tight game through out but The Black Mamba doesn’t like to lose and made sure of that himself.

Game two belonged to the front line of The Lakers as Pau Gasol and Andrew Bynum combined for 39 points and 29 rebounds as well as Lamar Odom chipping in with 11 points and 15 rebounds off the bench as The Lakers won the game 111-103.

Game three came down to a missed tip in by Wesley Matthews at the buzzer giving the Lakers a 111-110 game 3 victory and a 3-0 series lead. The Jazz made a terrific defensive stop with 4.4 seconds left but Deron Williams two point attempt and the miss tip in my Matthews put the Jazz into a very tight hole.

Kobe Bryant has been nothing short of brilliance scoring 30+ points in all 3 games so far (31,30,35). The Lakers are one win away from the Western Conference Finals and 9 wins away from repeating as NBA Champions.
