After taking care of The Charlotte Bobcats in the first round of the playoffs, The Orlando Magic look to be one game away from advancing to their second straight Eastern Conference Final. They hold a 3-0 series lead over a very talented Atlanta Hawks team who have seemed to lost all focus in their past three games.

In game one The Magic defeated The Hawks 114-71. This was the second worst playoff defeat in Hawks history. Joe Johnson shot 4-11 from the field and finished with 10 points. The highly touted soon to be free agent has yet to step it up when it counts the most.

In game two The Hawks took a 57-48 lead into half time just to blow it in the forth quarter and end up losing the game 112-98. Vince Carter was huge for The Magic scoring 20 of his 24 points in the second half.

In game three it was much of the same for The Magic as game one. Orlando shot a blistering 50.7% from the field and held Atlanta to a 34.9% shooting night. Mickael Pietrus was terrific off the bench for the Magic scoring 13 points. Dwight Howard scored 21 points and for the third straight game, managed to stay out of foul trouble something that plagued him in the first round match up with the Bobcats.
